$10K Pompey Scholarship marks 10 year anniversary

For the last 10 years, the Exuma Foundation of Canada and GIV Bahamas have organized the Run For Pompey, an annual race on the island of Exuma.

Not only has it attracted thousands of international runners over the years, the race has also been a major event for the community of Exuma.

Most importantly, the proceeds of each race has put towards The Pompey Scholarship, an award given to one deserving student on island at the high school graduation, so he or she can attend college or university.

This year, the Exuma Foundation of Canada is proud to award Antonio Williams a $10,000 scholarship to mark the 10^thanniversary of this event. He will attend University of The Bahamas this fall.
